Dilate

Dilate is an effect than increases or decreases the apparent area of an object - in other words it can make objects look like they’re getting larger or smaller, by expanding the edges. Tile Tools Dilate is different than other Dilate filters in that you have more control over the strength of the effect produced.

Control Name	Description
Dilation:	Strength of the effect. When negative, the opposite effect is produced, and in many cases can make the image look sharpened
Darken:	Contracts the edges rather than expanding them. Could also be called “Erode”.
Edge Wrap:	Wraps lower and upper, left and right edges. Useful for applying the effect to tiled images.
